Quite possibly the defining political speech of its time. Certainly sums up 'the Jersey Way' attitude to justice to a T!
I bet a few of the great and the good scuttled off with clenched buttocks of discomfort while this speech was being made. We need more of such openness and honesty in the States no matter how undeniably uncomfortable to hear.
With Trevor Pitman gone from the States and Stuart too there just isn't anyone left anymore who could make these calibre of hard-hitting speeches. The States is now deadly dull which is probably all part of the plan? Thanks for putting this up.
